| Intro/Info/Background: | The Long Cat concept frame was designed by the former junker Gato. Gato is now a part of, and is funded by the corporation E.V.O.K.E. to experiment in the field of occult robotics and experimental frame design. This frame is a sleek design able to manuever fairly well. It has all the mounting space needed for the attachment of rechargers and a shell gun. The heavy weapon is contained with the front of the chasis concealed within the "mouth" of the longcat. This is one of the reasons the long cat is so manueverable. Another unique characteristic of this frame is the use of the mine deployer. It can be used to plant mines during retreat but is also used as a cargo hold for the doll, keeping it secure within the core of the frame. Gato brand electro-sensitive constricting metal polymer creates a sort of synthetic muscular system for the long cat. Although not incredibly resistant to projectiles, it can be reinforced with anything from steel plating to electromagnetic shielding. Finally, the use of the frames "paws" can be used in various ways. First, they ensure traction on most surfaces. Secondly they can be used as close range mellee weapons in unnoficial duels. The Senate rules may modify or outlaw their use, but it's a nice option to have. The paws also make the Long Cat frame an efficient explorer, being able to dig through wreckage to find viable parts. Gato had to include that, being the efficient junker he is. |
